Assalamualaikum Warahmatullah Wabarakatuh 🙂
Apa khabar semua pembaca yang sentiasa dirahmati Allah SWT? Harap2 sihat selalu ya! 🙂
Sempena Awal Muharram ni, I want to write about sunnah things you can do in Muharram to boost up your Iman, InsyaAllah.
It’s just a basic thing for a basic like me. You need some basics before you can get advanced right? So, start with something easy to revive your Iman.
On the 10th of Muharram, it was on this very day that Allah saved Moses and his companions from the clutches of the Pharaoh who was drowned in the sea along with his army.
“When the Prophet sallallahu ‘alaihi wa-sallam came to Medina, the he saw the Jews fasting on the day of Ashura, and the king asked: what day is today? They replied: It is a good day, the day when Allah saved the Israel from their enemy, then Moses fasted on that day. He said: I have more right to Musa than you allfasting. Then he ordered fasting and fasting “. (Hadith Bukhari (2004) and Muslim(1130))
But, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam recommended us, the Muslims, to fast on 9th Muharram as well because that can differentiate us from the Yahoodi (Jews).
Tell me if there’s any wrong facts here. 🙂
So, let’s fast on December 4 and 5 okay! 😀
